Responsibilities
- Ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
- Ensuring timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy.
- Work together to make a difference to all the people we support, and make Practice Plus Group, a place where each of us feels appreciated, challenged and supported to do our best work fulfilling the lives of others.
- Communicate complex or sensitive information whilst demonstrating empathy and understanding to patients.
- Share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines optimisation, drug regimes, medicines legislation and general health education so that the multidisciplinary healthcare team are appropriately informed.

We are looking for caring, compassionate but also driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for a fair and inclusive healthcare access to all.
You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC). You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team. Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures. Ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

The Health in Justice team at Practice Plus Group makes a real difference across over 53 prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres. We are the UK’s leading independent provider of NHS services to over 40,000 patients in secure environments, always putting their needs first, regardless of their background. This position is full time, with an annual salary up to £33,510 per annum, depending on experience.
