We are looking for a motivated and professional Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care to patients across outpatient, ward and day surgery settings, with a strong focus on orthopaedic pathways. Working closely with surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will play a key part in ensuring every patient receives safe, effective and personalised treatment from pre-assessment through to post-operative recovery. Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in line with best practice and agreed clinical protocols.
- Managing your own caseload across pre-assessment, peri-operative and outpatient services.
- Developing and delivering individualised treatment plans to support recovery and mobility.
- Educating patients and carers on exercises, rehabilitation plans and the safe use of mobility aids.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless patient care.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records and contributing to audits and quality initiatives.
- Supporting service development, clinical improvements and the implementation of new techniques.
- Participating in weekend and bank holiday services as required.
Qualifications
- With your degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration, you will also have:
- Recent post-graduate experience, ideally within musculoskeletal or orthopaedic settings.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning and professional development.
- A friendly, professional manner and a genuine motivation to deliver outstanding patient care.
