What you’ll be doing
As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

Working within the primary care team, you will work with Nurses and Nursing Associates across the service

Assist with clinical observations, vaccination clinics etc
-
Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
-
Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
-
Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
-
Support the nursing and pharmacy teams onsite
-
Support the mental health and substance misuse teams as necessary
-
Assist with release and discharge when needed

Our new Healthcare Assistant will:

Hold a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent – a Level 3 would be a bonus!

Have experience in a care setting previously – ideally from a hospital or prison setting

Have a caring and compassionate approach

Ideally have experience within primary care

This is a part time role, 30 hours per week, with shifts falling between the following times:
07:30-19:30 Monday to Thursday
07:30-18:00 Friday
08:00-17:30 Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays, This position is part time , you’ll receive an annual salary of between £24,669 – £28,690 (FTE equivalent) – depending on experience., It doesn’t stop there … we also offer:
