HMP Millsike is a new state of the art Category C prison, with capacity of 1500 males. Practice Plus Group provides healthcare services across the wings, clinic areas, inpatient facilities, and reception services. As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- As the first point of contact for the healthcare team, you will actively speak to hospitals, GP surgeries, solicitors and others, arranging external appointments for patients, requesting discharge summaries and patient summaries etc
- Work closely with the wider prison team to arrange hospital appointments, escorts and bed watch.
- You will also ensure that prison officers have up to date clinic lists.
- Process E Referrals
- Update trackers, systems and spreadsheets for hospital appointments, admissions, consent forms etc
- Carry out admin tasks for Early Days in Custody (EDIC)
- General admin duties such as scanning, post, minute taking and stock check
