As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of PRA’s mobile and web applications by planning and executing test strategies across the software development lifecycle. You will work within agile squads, collaborate closely with Developers, Product, and Design, and help integrate robust testing into our CI/CD pipelines to deliver high‑quality releases on time.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Automation: design, implement, and maintain automated tests for web (e.g., Selenium) and mobile (e.g., Appium, Espresso/XCUITest); contribute automated suites to CI/CD.
  • API testing: validate REST endpoints (authentication, pagination, error handling) using tools such as Postman/Swagger; participate in contract testing with developers.
  • Quality built into delivery: integrate tests into CI/CD, monitor failures, triage defects quickly, and improve feedback loops to keep projects on schedule.
  • Non‑functional quality: contribute to accessibility (WCAG‑aligned checks), performance, and basic security/data‑handling verification in partnership with engineering.
  • Collaboration: contribute to estimation, planning, and definition of acceptance criteria; collaborate with cross‑function and cross‑country teams.
  • Defect lifecycle: track quality metrics and share insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Release readiness: help ensure releases meet agreed quality gates.
  • Creates and sustains a positive work environment.
  • Participates in special-interest communities.
  • Stays abreast of best practices, modern technologies, techniques, and technical approaches to development.

Experience / Qualifications

  • 3+ years in software testing/QA with demonstrable experience across both web and mobile app products.
  • Mobile testing: hands on testing on iOS and Android (simulators/emulators and real devices); familiarity with platform behaviours, permissions, app lifecycle, and release channels (TestFlight/App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
  • API version control with Git.
  • Agile.
