Serves as developer in the following roles within the IT Department: 3rd line support staff and system developer. This position is responsible for estimation, development, maintenance and enhancement of the systems, solutions and services provided by the Information Technology team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and operate our in-house developed solutions and collection systems (Debtrak).
- Support the Program Director and the Head of Development in making decisions on how the new solutions should be developed and evolve.
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-country development teams on special projects.
- Work on our different integrations.
- Improve and extend the use of our solution.
Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BA) in System Development or similar.
- Excellent skills in MS SQL Server products, particularly T-SQL skills.
- Good skills in one or several areas like Information Management, BI, ETL-tool, SQL Server BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
- Excellent skills in Microsoft .net, preferably C#.
- 3-5 years in financial/banking industry would be advantageous, ideally with experience in distressed/non-performing loans area.
- Familiarity with TDD, automation & Continuous Integration.
- Strong in all the phases of a system development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to drive assigned projects in a self-disciplined manner.
- Good communicator able to challenge and influence thinking both internally and externally.
- Strong collaborator who shares knowledge and is an active listener.
- Able to prioritise and operate independently.
- Pro-active in raising and tackling issues, creative problem solver.
- Strong cultural awareness, flexible and comfortable in an international environment.
- Analytical.
Preferred
- Experience in Project management would be advantageous.
- DevOps experience would be advantageous.
