Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets and convenience stores. Our chefs work with our customers and have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals. CPC Foods’ master data team is expanding, and we are now searching for a Master Data Support to join our team at Pro-Pak Foods. In this role you will be helping maintain group master data resource to ensure accurate master data in the ERP system (Sage X3, SFDC). You will be supporting one of our sites located in North Yorkshire. This role is office based in Malton.

Who are we searching for?

Ideally you will be a business economics or mathematics graduate, be logical and have great business acumen. We’re looking for a strong and confident communicator who will be comfortable liaising daily with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also be an intermediate/advanced level user of MS Excel (formulas such as VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH and PivotTable) and SQL.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the ongoing operation and maintenance of EPR system (Sage X3, SFDC)
  • Reviewing and understanding production standards and processes.
  • Analyse and report variances against standards
  • Continuously look to improve business performance through cost saving / business improvement projects
  • Generate and maintain KPI and performance reports
  • Mapping and implementing new standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of master data
  • Develop and maintain systems procedures and work instructions.

Skills and experience required:

  • A Level or equivalent
  • The ability to work independently without management present on site
  • Has strong communication skills and can build effective relationships with the site team.
  • Is confident enough to challenge existing ways of working when necessary and explain the benefits of adopting CPC standards.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and master data management (preferably sage X3)
  • Excellent analytical, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including report building, data analysis and formula creation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is vital
  • A proven approach to continuous improvement.
