Pro-Pak Foods is enjoying an exciting period of transformation and growth. As a result we have a vacancy to join our HR team as a HR Advisor.
The main purpose of this role is to provide a client focused, comprehensive and professional people service to colleagues and managers by maintaining and developing processes, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and legal requirements.
This is a site based generalist HR role with lots of exposure and opportunity to explore multiple areas of HR.
You must be able to work as a key member of a small Team. As an overview, duties will include:

Provide practical advice and direction for line managers so that they implement people practices in compliance with CPC Group policy and statutory employment legislation as well as providing a positive, consistent employment experience

Provide an advisory service to colleagues ensuring they are fully aware of their contractual terms and conditions and CPC’s Group policies

Promote colleague engagement and positive mind-set agenda

Advise and provide support to managers to ensure the correct procedures are followed when carrying out grievance / disciplinary / performance improvement investigations, hearings and attendance management

Act on relevant HR KPI information in a timely manner itemising trends and generating it in a format that is readily available for managers to review e.g. sickness absence data

Administer and maintain accurate information within the HR system

Support the delivery of people plans and HR KPI targets
Knowledge and experience:
-
Part CIPD qualified or working towards HR qualification or equivalent experience

Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing business
-
Working knowledge of computer systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR systems
-
Experience working within a generalist Human Resources function
-
Working knowledge of employment legislation
-
Experience working with diverse teams
