About the role
Reports to: VP Product
Department: Product
PQShield is hiring an experienced Product Manager to define the vision, roadmap, and positioning for our high‑performance hardware security IP portfolio. Candidates should hold a degree in Hardware Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or an MBA, and bring at least 10 years of industry experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for PQPerform.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends in post‑quantum cryptography.
- Translate market insights into product requirements, features, and roadmaps.
- Align cross‑functional tech leads and sales behind the product vision.
- Collaborate with marketing to craft best‑in‑class positioning and messaging.
- Manage an efficient workflow integrated with HubSpot and JIRA to capture, prioritize, and transform insights into product features.
- Measure product performance using data from customers, prospects, and engineering.
- Pioneer the use of AI tools for insight gathering and prioritization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Track record of successfully launching and managing complex hardware security IP products.
- Deep knowledge of high‑performance hardware security IP markets (RAM, cloud computing, hyperscalers, network security).
- Strong understanding of competitive cryptographic acceleration solutions (e.g., Intel QAT, AMD/Xilinx, NVIDIA DPU, CUDA).
- Experience with performance optimization for cryptography: trade‑offs in PPA (Power, Performance, and Area).
- Experience with benchmarking KPIs (latency, area, speed, throughput, power efficiency).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Marketing/MBA, or a related field with 10+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with chip design flows, RTL, FPGA development, or ASIC implementation.
- Experience with standards and certifications (CAVP, SPDM, PSP).
