We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to support our operations by collecting and delivering survey and safety equipment to customer offices and construction sites. The role involves regional distribution, occasional long-distance travel, and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver survey and safety equipment to customer offices and construction sites in a defined region
  • Undertake occasional long-distance collections or deliveries as required
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly
  • Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles at all times
  • Safely load and unload equipment using appropriate manual handling techniques
  • Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients
  • Accurately complete delivery and collection documentation
  • Use a PDA device to record deliveries, collections, and obtain customer signatures
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
  • Follow all health and safety regulations during transport, loading, and unloading
  • Assist with general depot/yard duties when not driving

Skills & Experience Required

  • Clean driving licence
  • Previous experience in a delivery or driving role preferred
  • Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
  • Comfortable using handheld devices (PDA) for tracking and record-keeping
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
