Experienced Multi-Trader Wanted London | £160–£200 per day, depending on experience and ability | Permanent About the Role Polite Property Services is looking for an experienced, reliable Multi-Trader to join our growing property maintenance team, carrying out works across residential and commercial properties throughout London.
This is an all-round role.
We need someone who is genuinely competent across several trades and can attend jobs independently, identify the problem, complete the work to a good standard and provide clear updates.
The right person should be confident with
- General plumbing – taps, toilets, wastes, leaks, traps and fault finding
- Carpentry – doors, locks, handles, skirting, boxing-in and general repairs
- Handyman and general property maintenance
- Painting, decorating and making good
- Tiling and silicone works
- Electrical tasks where competent, although electrical qualifications are not essential
- Attending investigative jobs and providing a practical diagnosis of issues such as leaks, damp, mould and condensation
- Identifying likely causes of property defects and reporting findings clearly, including ventilation issues, plumbing leaks, water ingress, defective external pointing and other maintenance-related causes Requirements
- Strong multi-trade/property maintenance experience
- Must be a genuine all-rounder – this is not a plumbing-only position
- Able to diagnose faults and work independently without constant supervision
- Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and professional when dealing with tenants and property managers
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Own tools required
