PPS Logistics is looking for self‑employed Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team, operating from our Cumbernauld or Kilmarnock depot and delivering across Scotland. The role is Monday to Friday, offering a minimum of 25 hours per week. While primarily Class 1 work, the role may occasionally include Class 2 and 3.5 t runs depending on business needs.
Pay: £17.17 per hour
What the Role Involves:
- Collections & deliveries across Scotland
- Dropping off trailers for PMI and other operational needs
- Use of electronic POD and modern technology (full training provided)
- Ensuring secure loading and safe transportation
Requirements:
- Full UK C+E licence (Class 1)
- 12 months Class 1 driving experience (less may be considered)
- Maximum of 6 points on licence (No DR, DG, CD, MS, TT, or TS endorsements)
- Good knowledge of driver hours & WTD regulations
- Willing to work on a self‑employed basis
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- Hardworking & motivated in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic English‑speaking skills
