Job Description

We are one of the UKs leading Commercial Vehicle Body Builders, we are currently seeking to recruit a full time CAD Technician to join our busy team.

Your duties will include: Working collaboratively with our Sales & Production departments to produce 2D and 3D drawings and provide day-to-day technical support.

Create part numbers, Bo Ms, assembly instructions, and visual aids for production teams.

Implement engineering changes and supplier/customer change requests.

Consult with 3rd party manufacturers sending out dxf/step files and drawings.

Budget and costing control.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Maintain Bodybuilding guidelines from OMs Manage the approval process for samples of new products and product revisions.

Maintain Company ISO standards.

Possess effective communication skills and an eye for detail.

Person Specification Experienced in Autocad/Inventor Previous experience in a similar industry.

Proven ability to work within a fast paced, evolving and demanding environment.

High attention level to detail and work in a methodical, organised manner.

Experience with Trailerwin is preferable but not essential.

FEA Analysis advantageous.
