At PPRO, we simplify access to local payments - providing a local payments platform that empowers giants like PayPal, Stripe, and Microsoft to connect with billions of consumers worldwide. We are looking for an Account Executive who will blend hands-on account management with sharp analysis, surfacing the upsell and cross-sell opportunities that keep our biggest partners growing with us, while gaining broad exposure to how a global payments business operates end-to-end.

This is a crucial role to the department and wider business, as you will be a key support in ensuring the department benefits from data driven decision making.

  • Support senior Account Managers on five strategic accounts, including PayPal, Stripe, McAfee, HiPay, and JP Morgan, getting hands-on exposure to how we manage our biggest, most complex partnerships.
  • Take direct ownership of two tier 4 accounts, managing the day-to-day relationship and acting as the first point of contact.
  • Run business review data pulls, making sure the numbers behind every account conversation are accurate, timely, and ready to use.
  • Dig into data on existing accounts to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities the sales team might otherwise miss.
  • Turn that analysis into high-quality insights the sales team can act on straight away, not just numbers on a page.
  • Build compelling visuals, from charts and graphs to full presentations, that bring insights to life for clients and make the story easy to follow.
  • Work alongside the sales team to shape strategies that capitalise on the opportunities you've identified.
  • Keep an eye on market and competitor trends, and flag the ones that matter to the right internal stakeholders before they become a surprise.
  • Pitch in on day-to-day activities as needed, from legal tickets to annual leave cover, because we all work as a team!
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives within the commercial organization.

What you'll need to have:

  • Experience in a commercial, analytical, or account management role — ideally within Payments, or a Fintech.
  • A sharp eye for data: you're comfortable pulling numbers together, spotting patterns, and turning them into insights that actually change decisions.
  • Confidence building clear, compelling visuals in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills: you can translate detailed analysis into something a busy senior stakeholder can act on in two minutes.
  • A proactive, ownership mindset: you spot the upsell opportunity before someone asks you to look for it.
  • Great organisational skills: you can support multiple strategic accounts at once without dropping the ball.
  • Curiosity about the payments industry (or a genuine appetite to become a payments nerd fast).
  • Comfort working across teams: sales, legal, and account management all lean on you, and you make that easy.

What's in it for you?

  • Hybrid working - We offer a hybrid structure with a 3 days / week on site expectation, so you can strike the balance between office and home working.
  • In addition to our 28-day holiday allowance, we also provide a work from abroad policy, enabling employees to work remotely for up to another 30 days per year.
  • Learning and Development - We offer a GBP 500 annual budget to support your professional growth—because investing in your development benefits us all.
  • Insurance - We want our employees to benefit from various insurances including a medical insurance (AXA health care plan) and a 5% matching pension plan through Royal Pension London.
  • Enhanced Family Leave - We understand the importance of family - that's why we offer enhanced family leave to support you during key life moments.
  • Workplace Nursery Scheme - Save on childcare through salary exchange.
  • Gym membership - PPRO helps contribute towards the costs of your gym membership, supporting your physical fitness journey while easing the burden on your wallet.
  • Mental Health Platform - We've teamed up with a top well-being platform to provide one-on-one therapy, chat therapy, therapist-led courses, guided meditations, and more.
  • Our HQ office on Procter Street, is a short walk from Holborn, Farringdon and Covent Garden.
  • Pet-friendly office - Because work is better with your paw-tners by your side.
