Job Summary

Experienced Copper Engineer – full‑time, UK wide.

Responsibilities

  • Work outside, at height, and within customer premises on copper and fibre installations.
  • Complete trades tests and maintain up‑to‑date accreditations.
  • Use provided tools and PPE to deliver tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Report to line manager/supervisor and accept daily job allocations.
  • Pay is based on jobs completed each day.

Qualifications and Technical Requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • Relevant telecoms accreditations (e. g., SA001, SA020, C4, E1, F5, F17, H1, NRSWA) – holders, or willingness to obtain.
  • Good interpersonal/customer service experience (preferred).
  • Minimum 12 months of full UK driving licence.
  • Aptitude for learning new skills, self‑motivated, flexible approach to work.
  • Training

Our client provides comprehensive training with qualified trainers and operational support staff. Training includes:

  • Splicing, cabling and other Openreach modules.
  • One Fibre Network – fibre to the premises and cabling.
  • Working at heights, confined space awareness and asbestos awareness.
  • Hands‑on training using bespoke equipment such as telegraph poles, joint boxes, PCP cabinets, DSLAMs, exchange frames, copper bays and fibre bays.
