Contract role, Supervising Social Worker

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in the West Midlands. This is to work in a Fostering and Kinship Team.

Brief Duties / Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and Supervising Kinship Foster Carers
  • Provide regular supervision, guidance, and emotional support to foster carers.
  • Help carers offer safe, stable, and therapeutic care to children, with a trauma informed approach.
  • Empower carers to meet the needs of the children placed with them, promoting positive development and stability.
  • Ensuring carers are supported to address any barriers to training and development in their fostering role.
