Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of Social Workers and Community Care Officers, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Oversee the safeguarding of adults at risk, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014 and related legislation.
- Manage competing service priorities, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet departmental objectives.
- Drive the personalisation agenda, promoting strength-based approaches and integration with health and voluntary sector partners.
- Ensure quality assurance, performance management, and compliance with statutory responsibilities.
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including NHS, voluntary organisations, and community services.
- Support the implementation of strategic plans, ensuring services are effective, responsive, and financially sustainable.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Extensive experience in adult social care, with a strong focus on safeguarding, integration, and service transformation.
- Strong leadership and management experience, including the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent knowledge of adult social care legislation, policy, and best practice.
- Ability to manage complex priorities and drive service improvements.
