We are seeking an experienced SEND professional with a strong background in SEND and understanding of children and young people’s needs.
Hertfordshire County Council is embarking on an exciting project, implementing a needs lead funding model for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPS).
As part of the transition to a using a new piece of software we need experienced professionals to help implement this change.
This role requires people with a thorough knowledge of SEND, schools and educational settings and the specialist provision available to children and young people.
This is a focused project which requires someone with an eye for detail that can work to timescales, applying consistent decision making.
The candidate will be required to review needs and provision outlined within Education Health and Care Plans and quality assure decisions made on the funding allocated.
This role does not include any responsibility for casework.
The candidate will be required to liaise with other members of the team and there may be occasional contact with school representatives but there will be no direct contact with parents/carers.
