Qualified Social Worker, Children & Families, Kent Role Overview: Pertemps are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join Kent County Council’s Specialist Children\’s Services team (various locations). This is an exciting opportunity to manage a Children & Families caseload involving a variety of complexities. You will play a pivotal role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective actions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and their families. Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of Children & Families, including complex cases, ensuring high-quality assessments, reviews, and timely interventions. Prepare welfare reports and attend court as required. Develop close working relationships with statutory agencies, voluntary and private sector organisations, carers, and parents to ensure effective outcomes for children and families. Record accurate and timely information using agreed systems. Maintain an excellent understanding of legislation, policies, and procedures related to Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
