Job Description
- Carrying a caseload of adults with learning disabilities
- Completing Care Act and Mental Capacity Act assessments
- Leading safeguarding enquiries (including Section 42)
- Working closely with families, providers, health and therapy teams
- Creating personalised care and support plans
- Contributing to court work and supporting student development
? What you’ll need:
- Qualified in Social Work – degree or equivalent
- 3 years + post qualified
- Registered with Social Work England
- Proven experience in adult services (learning disabilities preferred)
- Confident applying key legislation: Care Act, MCA, Mental Health Act, etc.
- Excellent communication, assessment and decision-making skills
- A person-centred approach and ability to work collaboratively
