?? Qualified Social Worker – Adults (Learning Disabilities)?? Location: Greater Manchester?? Pay Rate: £30 per hour?? Full-time | Agency ContractAre you a skilled Social Worker looking to make a real impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities? We're looking for an experienced, compassionate practitioner to join a dedicated team in Greater Manchester. You’ll be at the heart of multi-disciplinary support, helping individuals lead independent, empowered lives — and safeguarding those most at risk.?? What you'll be doing:
  • Carrying a caseload of adults with learning disabilities
  • Completing Care Act and Mental Capacity Act assessments
  • Leading safeguarding enquiries (including Section 42)
  • Working closely with families, providers, health and therapy teams
  • Creating personalised care and support plans
  • Contributing to court work and supporting student development

? What youll need:

  • Qualified in Social Work – degree or equivalent
  • 3 years + post qualified
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Proven experience in adult services (learning disabilities preferred)
  • Confident applying key legislation: Care Act, MCA, Mental Health Act, etc.
  • Excellent communication, assessment and decision-making skills
  • A person-centred approach and ability to work collaboratively
