Your caseload will involve:
  • Supporting vulnerable young adults aged 16+.
  • Developing care and pathway plans that promote placement stability, education, health, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Working in collaboration with carers, families, and partner agencies.
  • Ensuring statutory responsibilities are met in line with children's legislation.
  • Supporting young people to live happy, productive, and independent lives.

  • A Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experienced in working with Looked After Children, care leavers, or vulnerable young adults.
  • Confident in writing reports, assessments, and care plans.
  • Skilled in multi-agency working, decision-making, and risk assessment.
  • Person-centred, emotionally intelligent, and committed to positive change.

You should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of children’s legislation and the local authority’s statutory responsibilities.
