Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting Contact Supervisors to support Looked After Children (LAC) across North London and surrounding areas. The role involves supervising family contact sessions and ensuring children and families are supported safely throughout each session. Sessions typically last around 2 hours, although some may run for up to 4 hours. You will also be required to transport the child to and from the contact session, so applicants must be able to transport LAC as part of the role. Travel time transporting the child will be paid at Β£18 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contact sessions between Looked After Children and their families.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children throughout contact.
- Complete a detailed contact report following each session using the provided Word template.
- Submit completed reports to the Contact Team.
- Transport LAC safely to and from contact sessions.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns or safeguarding issues promptly.
