We are seeking compassionate, dedicated and resilient Children's Residential Support Workers to join our growing team in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people who have experienced trauma, adversity and complex life challenges, helping them build positive futures in a safe and nurturing home environment.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a stable, caring and supportive home where children can thrive emotionally, socially and educationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8-18.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
  • Promote emotional wellbeing, independence and life skills.
  • Support children with education, health appointments and social activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and risk assessments.
  • Safeguard and protect children at all times.
  • Work as part of a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care plans.
  • Participate in sleep-in shifts and on-call duties where required.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.
  • Previous experience in residential childcare, social care, youth work or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the DBS update service or Pertemps will process a new one for you.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
