SEND Case Officer
Location: Hertfordshire – Fully Remote
Pay Rate: £300 per day
Contract: Full Time
Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Case Officer to join the West Team SASS within Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of EHC needs annual reviews and amendments.
- Coordinate advice from education, health and social care professionals.
- Draft and amend EHCPs in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Ensure statutory timescales are met and case records are maintained accurately.
- Act as the main point of contact for families, schools and partner agencies.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings as required.
Requirements
- Strong experience in SEND/EHCP casework.
- Good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes.
- Experience managing a high-volume caseload and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and report-writing skills.
- Experience using EHM (Liquidlogic).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Teams and Excel.
