To work with adolescents aged approximately 10-18 who present with complex safeguarding risks and vulnerabilities, using a contextual safeguarding approach to reduce harm, strengthen protective networks, and improve outcomes
-Undertake statutory social work assessments, including Child & Family Assessments and risk assessments.
-Manage a caseload of children and young people requiring safeguarding intervention.
-Lead Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Section 47 enquiries where appropriate.
- Conduct return home interviews and assessments for young people who go missing.
- Work collaboratively with schools, police, health services, youth justice, housing providers and voluntary agencies
