The Role - Site Supervisor
As Working Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day management of works on site, ensuring all activities are delivered in line with programme, budget, quality standards, and strict prison security procedures. This is a hands-on role, responsible for multi-trade activities including carpentry, general fabric and externals. You will coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades across fire protection packages, while maintaining strong communication with the client, prison staff, and wider project teams. Working within a live custodial environment will require excellent planning, attention to detail, and the ability to manage works with minimal disruption to prison operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily site operations and subcontractor activities
- Managing internal and external upgrade works
- Supervising internal upgrade works
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with H&S legislation
- Maintaining site records, permits, RAMS and progress reports
