Team Leader Grounds Maintenance

Job title: Team Leader (Grounds Maintenance)

Location: TQ12 (Newton Abbot)

Working hours: Full time (Mon-Fri)

Salary: 28.5k – 30.5k (Based on experience & qualifications)

Job Description:

In this role you will be working alongside an Operative to successfully complete a schedule

and programme of works to specification. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering a scheduled round of works
• Effective management of customers\’ expectations on site
• Leading and developing your team
• Carrying out horticultural and grounds maintenance related tasks
• Use of commercial grounds maintenance equipment
• Maintenance of van and machinery

Desirable Skills & Experience

• PA1 & PA6 spraying certificate
• Trailer use and experience
• Basic fencing and landscaping experience
• Chainsaw and chipper license
• 3 years\’ experience within grounds maintenance
• Proven good attendance and performance record
• Ability to use and maintain a variety of commercial grounds maintenance equipment
• The fitness to handle the physical requirements of the job
