X10 Head Chef - Stafford (ST17 4JX) Pay Rate: up to £20.17p/h inc. hol. pay Contract: 6 Months Contract with the view of being extended Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am till 3pm PPM Recruitment is currently recruiting for 10 experienced Head Chefs to join a busy catering operation in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs with strong kitchen management skills who can lead a team, maintain high food standards and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a professional kitchen. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard. Lead, supervise and motivate kitchen staff. Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Manage stock levels, food ordering and portion control. Monitor food costs and minimise waste. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment. Ensure meals are prepared and served within required timeframes. Support the training and development of kitchen team members. Follow all site procedures and catering standards. Requirements Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a senior chef position. Strong leadership and kitchen management skills. Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures. Ability to work effectively in a busy catering environment. Good organisational and communication skills. A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work. Relevant food hygiene qualifications are desirable.
