We are seeking Property Clearance Operatives to work around the Black Country area.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must reside in the Sandwell, Wolverhampton, or Dudley area.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Labouring experience.

Key Duties:

  • Driving the team van when required.
  • Performing tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Cleaning and clearing vacant social housing properties, including interior and exterior gardens, after tenants vacate.
  • Removing furniture, carpets, underlay, lino, curtains, blinds, and other items left behind.
  • Removing old or damaged outbuildings and sheds from gardens.
  • Maintaining gardens by trimming hedges and grassed areas.
  • Clearing debris from gardens, yards, and driveways.
  • Delivering and retrieving security keys.
  • Handling occasional removal of needles, bodily fluids, and other contaminated objects.
  • Updating the call centre during jobs as needed.

Additional Information:

  • Work involves outdoor and indoor tasks in all weather conditions.
  • Some properties may be challenging; flexibility and resilience are essential.
  • Reliability and hard work are a must.
  • Induction sessions will be held in Garretts Green, Birmingham; candidates must be able to attend.
  • During the 13-week probation, no van will be provided; transportation to and from work will be arranged.
  • Post-probation, a van may be supplied.
  • Pay rate is up to £13.68 per hour.
