Our client is a leading provider of Grounds Maintenance and Arboriculture. We are looking for experienced Arborists in the Nottingham area.
Applicants will ideally have a driver’s licence and experience driving light commercial vehicles; towing trailers is desirable. Applicants must be reliable, conscientious, have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn with the ability to work on their own initiative. Previous experience as an Arborist is essential and also experience in grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery is desirable but full training will be given.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive tree work – both ground and aerial.
- Conduct arboricultural duties including tree pruning, dismantling & felling.
- Operate tree climbing, aerial rescue equipment, chainsaws (including rope and harness use), chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting and woodchipper.
Qualifications:
- Essential: previous experience as an Arborist.
- Desirable: experience in grounds maintenance, horticultural tasks, and use of handheld machinery.
- Driving licence for light commercial vehicles; towing trailers is desirable.
- MEWP Qualification preferable but not essential.
Pay rate is negotiable within reason. Permanent role.
