Mobile HVAC Engineer – Liverpool
Salary: £25.23 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our team, maintaining and servicing HVAC systems across 8 schools in the Knowsley area . This role involves preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and emergency response to critical HVAC systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PPM tasks on HVAC equipment and complete necessary documentation.
- Respond to emergency callouts and conduct repairs on critical systems.
- Carry out minor works and repairs on air conditioning (AC) units and air handling units (AHUs).
- Monitor and maintain BMS systems (Building Management Systems).
- Conduct compliance testing to JSP375 standards.
- Participate in the on-call rota for urgent maintenance requests.
What We’re Looking For:
- City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or equivalent.
- Safe handling of refrigerants certification.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repairs.
- Experience with BMS systems (preferred but not essential).
- City & Guilds in Electrical (desirable).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS
