Project Manager - Commercial Fit-Out Location: Manchester Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits Sector: Commercial Fit-Out & Interiors Project Values: £1m - £5m A leading interior fit-out contractor in Manchester is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial fit-out projects across the UK. The company delivers high-quality construction and fit-out schemes across a diverse range of sectors, including national retail, leisure, hotels, government, residential and commercial offices, with project values typically ranging from £1m to £5m. The Role As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring that schemes are delivered on programme, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams, providing strong leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial fit-out projects from mobilisation through to completion. Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams. Manage project budgets, costs and commercial performance. Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, programme and specification. Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Lead regular progress meetings and provide clear project reporting. Identify and manage project risks, issues and potential delays. Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety requirements. Oversee snagging, handover and completion processes. Utilise relevant project management and construction software.The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit-out/interiors. Experience delivering projects valued between £1m and £5m. A strong understanding of construction and fit-out processes. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively. Strong programme and project management capabilities. Good commercial awareness and attention to detail. Competence with project management/construction software.
