Our client is a well-established leader in the commercial interiors and fit-out sector, delivering high-quality bespoke projects across the UK. With decades of industry expertise and a reputation for innovation, quality, and delivery, they are looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions from drawings and specifications
- Managing quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuations, and agreement of work sections
- Monitoring project costs, subcontractor variations, and commercial performance throughout project lifecycles
- Producing cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding project costs and budgets
- Preparing quotations from site measurements and subcontractor pricing
- Supporting cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Attending client and site meetings across the UK when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience within commercial fit-out, shopfitting, or interiors
- Strong understanding of estimating and quantity surveying processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and measurement software/packages
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
