Our client is a well-established leader in the commercial interiors and fit-out sector, delivering high-quality bespoke projects across the UK. With decades of industry expertise and a reputation for innovation, quality, and delivery, they are looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions from drawings and specifications
  • Managing quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuations, and agreement of work sections
  • Monitoring project costs, subcontractor variations, and commercial performance throughout project lifecycles
  • Producing cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding project costs and budgets
  • Preparing quotations from site measurements and subcontractor pricing
  • Supporting cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Attending client and site meetings across the UK when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within commercial fit-out, shopfitting, or interiors
  • Strong understanding of estimating and quantity surveying processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and measurement software/packages
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
