A growing specialist contractor operating across roofing, cladding, rainscreen and façade remediation is looking for an experienced Estimator - Facades to join its Commercial team. The role will involve producing accurate and competitive tenders for rainscreen cladding, façade refurbishment, overcladding and remediation projects across commercial and public-sector markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates, tenders, take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
  • Review drawings, specifications, surveys and project requirements.
  • Price rainscreen, ventilated cladding, overcladding, curtain walling and composite panel systems.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
  • Attend site surveys and identify refurbishment, buildability and fire-safety requirements.
  • Assess tender risks and identify value-engineering opportunities.
  • Support project teams with budgets, procurement, variations and final accounts.
  • Manage multiple tenders and meet submission deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within façades, rainscreen cladding or specialist envelope.
  • Strong knowledge of rainscreen, ventilated cladding and refurbishment systems.
  • Experience with SFS, Kingframe, Metsec, Kingspan, Trespa, Equitone, Rockpanel, brick slips, terracotta or aluminium cassette systems.
  • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
  • Strong commercial and numerical skills.
  • Good knowledge of estimating software and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
