X2 Basic Handyman – CM22 Area

Duration: Ongoing dependent on how it goes

Pay Rate: £15.52 per hour including holiday pay

Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Overtime: Will be available some Saturdays paid at 1.25 rate

General Overview

PPM are seeking two reliable and hardworking Basic Handyman to work in a warehouse to join a busy site based in CM22 for an immediate start. This is a hands‑on role within a warehouse environment and the job duties are planting, assembling flat‑pack furniture and any other ad‑hoc duties. The client is offering a competitive pay rate to secure high-quality, dependable workers. There is strong potential for additional positions (2-3 more operatives) if the project progresses as expected.

Key Duties

• Planting plants into pots and preparing stock
• Assembling flat‑pack furniture (IKEA‑style units)
• Assisting with ad-hoc site tasks as required

Candidate Requirements

• Able to start immediately
• Must have own transport and be able to get to and from site
• Steel toe cap boots required
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Good work ethic and reliable

You will be required to go to the job location this week to meet the manager and to be shown around the site with view to starting work early next week.
