Estimator - Roofing & Cladding Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience The Opportunity PPM Recruitment is working with a leading roofing and cladding specialist subcontractor seeking an Estimator to join their growing team in Gloucester. Working with major Tier 1 contractors, the business delivers a range of roofing, cladding and building envelope solutions. With a strong order book and a collaborative working environment, this is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking for career progression, including the potential to advance to Senior Estimator. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects. Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. Calculate material, labour, plant and associated costs. Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal project teams. Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities. Carry out site visits where required. Support the commercial team with estimating and contractual queries. Requirements Previous estimating experience within roofing, cladding or construction. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good understanding of construction costs, materials and methods. Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office. A construction-related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant experience. What's on Offer?
