PPM Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Gas Plumber/Wet fitter for one of our clients in Wigan.
Working on Domestic Properties.
Responsibilities Include:
- Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systems.
- Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
- Some Wet Fitting Responsibilities which may include installations and repairs of domestic heating systems including replacements of radiators and valves.
- Completion of all relevant paperwork.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
- Participate in out of hour’s works, including overtime and call out.
- Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures.
- Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards.
- Undertake all other maintenance works within remit.
- Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent/ City and Guilds.
- ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
- LPG unvented oil desirable but not essential.
- UNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essential.
