Job Description:
Qualified Electrician Needed in London
PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Victoria street, London (EC4V) area. (Static site)
HOURS: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week) (7-4 or 9-6)
RECRUITMENT: Full time Permanent position, Subject to a satisfactory DBS
Summary of Duties:
Service and maintenance of electrical appliances, with daily duties being completing RM\’s, PPM\’s PMstat\’s and escorting contractors across 3 floors of a tenanted office building.
Main Duties:
Attend service and reactive breakdowns to fault find, diagnose, and repair in a timely and cost-effective manner.
To carry out the day-to-day responsive maintenance, service and repairs as instructed
To make immediate decisions as regards the repair requirements
Liaise with management and or client to ensure all works are completed.
Ensure that all works and repairs are completed safely and in accordance with current codes and practices.
Abide by all client rules and regulations whilst on site (copy available upon request)
To accurately complete all relevant documentation associated with the duties
Actively take a proactive approach in finding and quoting additional works, should it be required.
Adhere to the Company policies and procedures, handbook and Health & Safety.
Requirements
- Fully qualified
- Experience in completing Electrical Installations
- Good Knowledge and understanding of BS 7671 – IET Wiring Regulations
- Excellent knowledge of Electrical services and products
- Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working
Preferences
- City & Guilds BS7671:2018 Level 3 – Electrical Installations
- City & Guilds 2391 – Testing and Inspecting (previously 2394/2395)
- DBS verified
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Annual Leave entitlement is twenty plus days plus bank holidays.
