We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with Level 3 Plumbing/Mechanical experience to join the maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, hands-on engineer looking to expand their expertise across a busy and diverse site. The role is Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, and once fully familiar with the site, you will also take part in the on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across a range of mechanical systems
- AHU maintenance and FCU servicing
- Calorifier inspections and routine checks
- TMV maintenance and compliance tasks
- Boiler inspections and general mechanical plant support
- Support with L8 compliance duties
- Drainage work, including unblocking toilets and waste pipes
- Locating and repairing leaks and minor plumbing faults
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Ideal Candidate:
- Level 3 qualified in a Plumbing/Mechanical discipline
- Strong understanding of building services maintenance
- Proactive problem-solver with good communication skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties once fully trained
