Estimator - Bristol Based in the company's Bristol office and reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Estimator will be responsible for preparing robust time and cost estimates for new work enquiries within an established medium-sized main contractor. The role will involve pricing a diverse range of opportunities, including high-value, long-term contracts and framework agreements, alongside one-off projects typically ranging from £100k to £5m. Projects span a variety of sectors, including schools, universities, healthcare, bespoke builds and warehouses Desirable Experience Experience working for a main contractor within refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out, or new-build environments. Knowledge of public sector procurement and tendering procedures. Experience using estimating software and tender management platforms. Understanding of framework providers and public sector frameworks. Ability to undertake site visits and assess project requirements independently.Personal Attributes Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Commercially astute and analytical. Self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Professional and client-focused approach.
