Caretaker - Birmingham
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £17.11 per hour inc. hol. pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

PPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Caretaker to work within a school environment in Birmingham.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- General caretaking and facilities duties across the site
- Ensure the school premises are clean, safe and well maintained
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs where required
- Open and secure buildings as required
- Assist with setting up rooms and moving furniture/equipment
- Carry out regular checks of the building and grounds
- Report any faults, damage or maintenance issues
- Support the wider facilities team with day-to-day tasks
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous Caretaker or Facilities Management experience preferred
- Good general maintenance skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility is essential as different shift patterns may be required
- Previous experience working within a school or similar environment would be advantageous
