We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our clients growing finance team. This is a full time position for a medium size construction company based near Cheltenham. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our accounts function while also supporting wider administrative duties. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and verifying supplier invoices using Sage
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Processing supplier payments and employee expense claims
  • Reconciling company credit card statements
  • Maintaining and updating employee training records
  • Supporting general ledger activities and administrative tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience using Sage Accounts (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good understanding of accounts payable processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
