Skilled Plasterer with Multi-Trade Knowledge – Millom

Here at PPM, we carry out a variety of maintenance and construction work across our PPM divisions. We provide services for social housing clients as well as private clients. Our work ranges from general maintenance, installing safety features and aid adaptations, full refurbishments on residential properties to complete construction of commercial buildings.

The key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out Responsive and Planned repairs
• Refurbishment of residential properties
• Installing safety features and disability aids/adaptations
• Working on an On-Call basis

The key experience required is:

• Qualifications relevant to trade and/or proven time served in plastering
• Previous skills and experience in multiple trades preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Works well under pressure

What are PPM\’s Terms & Conditions?

• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm
• Workplace Pension Contributions – 5% Employee and 3% Employer*
• This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory.

Experience:

• Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
• Builders: 1 year (preferred)
• Tiling: 1 year (preferred)
• Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)
• Plastering: 2 years (preferred)

Job Type

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday – 8am to 4.30pm
• Location: on the road

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

Pay

• £27,250.00-£32,700.00 per year
