As Content Manager you’ll shape and deliver high-quality content across web, campaigns and corporate publications, combining strategic thinking with a sharp eye for detail and delivery. Working closely with teams across PPL and external partners, you’ll create clear, accurate and user‑focused content for internal and external audiences, translating complex or sensitive information into accessible copy that performs well. • Draft and edit a range of content for the website, distilling complex subject matter into customer-friendly copy
  • Manage delivery of corporate communications assets, including drafting the Annual Review, half-year company summaries, corporate publications and senior leadership speeches for the Annual General Meeting
  • Support corporate announcements, campaigns and senior leadership messaging
  • Act as the primary editorial interface between internal subject-matter experts and external digital and web agencies
  • Manage timelines, drafts, approvals and final sign-off across multiple contributors
  • Act as the corporate brand guardian, ensuring quality control across materials and protecting the brand voice
  • Analyse web content performance and be accountable for implementing continuous improvement
  • Lead content reviews during website updates and refreshes
  • To always display your commitment to PPL’s company vision and values. This includes leading from the front, maximising opportunities and operating in a genuine, honest and open way throughout all activities.

About You

This is a mid-level role, the successful candidate will be an experienced communications professional with strong writing and editorial judgement, alongside hands-on digital capability. You’ll have proven ability to draft, edit and maintain high-quality website content, with the confidence to advise on tone, clarity and structure.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent written English
  • Experience with WordPress and website management
  • Knowledge of web design, including HTML and CSS
  • Experience working with a CMS
  • Ability to translate technical or specialist subject matter into accessible communications
