As our Salesforce Business Analyst/Product Owner, you will own problem definition and value delivery across Salesforce products, ensuring business outcomes are met through a clear backlog, strong platformâaware design, and tight collaboration with engineering, operations, and commercial teams. You will balance analysis depth with pragmatic product ownership, enabling fast, safe, and measurable change.
What you will be doing
- Discovery & Analysis
- Lead structured discovery: business goals, constraints, risks, value hypotheses, and success measures (OKRs/KPIs).
- Run stakeholder workshops, interviews, and journey mapping to produce asâis/toâbe process models and painâpoint analysis.
- Translate needs into clear requirements: epics, features, user stories, testable acceptance criteria (consider Gherkin), and nonâfunctional needs (performance, security, accessibility, scalability).
- Perform light data analysis and profiling; validate data model impacts, reporting needs, and data quality rules.
- Product Ownership
- Assist the PMO team in maintaining a prioritised product backlog aligned to strategy and value; apply agile product practices (MVPs, hypothesis testing).
- Assist with the facilitation of sprint/iteration planning, backlog refinement, and acceptance of increments against clear Definition of Done.
- Work with PMO to build and communicate a transparent roadmap with outcomes, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate UAT planning and execution; define entry/exit criteria and signâoff.
- Assist PMO with managing release readiness and adoption: enablement materials, comms, support model, and benefit tracking.
- Salesforce Platform Stewardship
- Shape solutions with a platformâfirst mindset: leverage standard capabilities (Flows, declarative automation, permissions, OOTB features) before custom.
- Partner with Architects/Engineers on design decisions (data model, integration patterns, security & compliance).
- Ensure data integrity and governance (naming conventions, dedupe, masking where needed) and support auditability.
- Align requirements with environment strategy (sandboxes/scratch orgs), test data, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Governance & Value Realisation
- Define and track measurable outcomes (e.g., conversion uplift, AHT reduction, case deflection, CTS reduction, NPS/CSAT).
- Run benefits tracking postârelease and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain traceability from business objectives, epics/stories, acceptance tests, releases, benefits.
- Change & Stakeholder Management
- Drive alignment across business units, coaching stakeholders on prioritisation and tradeâoffs.
- Produce succinct comms: decision logs, impact assessments, training guides, and release notes.
- Represent the product in governance forums; proactively surface risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
You will have
- Previous experience as a Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership, with experience delivering on Salesforce.
- Demonstrable experience writing highâquality user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs/roadmaps.
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge: Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, Flows, Data Model, Reports/Dashboards, Profiles/Permission Sets, and Integration concepts (APIs/ETL/iPaaS).
- Solid process analysis & mapping (BPMN or equivalent), requirement elicitation, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Comfortable with metrics/analytics: defining OKRs/KPIs, building basic reports/dashboards, and interpreting results to inform prioritisation.
- Familiarity with quality practices: Definition of Ready/Done, test planning, UAT, and working with QEs on automation coverage.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills; strong business acumen.
Desirable
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst.
- Product certifications: PSPO/CSPO, APM/PMIâACP.
- Experience with contact centre/CCaaS, CPQ, case management, or partner communities.
- Exposure to GDPR, ISO27001 controls, and risk/compliance processes.
