- Identify new business prospects and manage a portfolio of existing Live Music customers, to support the achievement of revenue and growth targets within the live department at PPL PRS Ltd.
- Developing and maintaining excellent business relationships with Live Music customers through regular contact e.g. phone, email, face to face.
What you will be doing
- Customer Focus
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with both existing and new customers.
- Manage a portfolio of high-profile and high value Live customer accounts ensuring timely completion of reviews in line with established deadlines.
- Educate and advise customers, positively reinforcing the benefits of music.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email and face to face visits.
- Ensure that all leads are contacted in accordance with the Live New Business contact process.
- Deliver a first-class licensee experience and continue to raise awareness of the company with prospective licensees.
- Seek payment from customers to meet live cash collection targets.
- Accurately maintain Salesforce records for all customers, adhering to business processes and standards.
- Growth Opportunities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities via effective pipelining activity.
- Monitor customers live music declarations and ensure all music usage is invoiced in line with our business standards.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the Live Music industry.
- Enhance knowledge of core licence procedures, including copyright law, tariffs, and direct licensing.
- Collaborative working
- Work closely with the staff involved in the MLCS licensing process.
- Collaborate with PRS for Music and PPL corporate partnership teams to ensure membership queries are dealt with as per agreed SLA’s.
You will have
- Ideally educated to A Level standard.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience successfully working within a lead generation or sales targeted role.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Competent using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of the background to copyright licensing, tariffs, policies, distribution, and procedures.
- Work alongside the collections and enforcement team to ensure all high-profile accounts are fully up to date with payments and debt owed.
