- Identify and secure high-value corporate opportunities across the UK, focusing on generating and converting new business within Fitness, Sports or Leisure.
- Demonstrable experience in Business Development Management within the Fitness, Sports or Leisure industries, with a proven track record of winning new clients and expanding market presence.
- Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with key decision-makers in target organisations and successfully negotiate and close large-scale licensing agreements.
- Meet potential customers to increase licence penetration on a national basis.
- Work closely with National Account Managers to ensure the continuation and handover of positive business relationships for longevity in licensing and royalties for members.
What you will be doing:
- Positively represent the company to prospective clients and manage opportunities to completion through effective relationship management.
- Promote the value of music to prospective organisations through a detailed and comprehensive offering tailored to individual requirements/objectives.
- Attend business functions, trade shows, and events to increase brand awareness and capitalise on potential prospect opportunities.
- Deliver and exceed revenue targets by identifying high-value corporate opportunities and managing the sales procurement process.
- Work with Insights to track industry trends and highlight opportunities that will support sales.
- Have a strong understanding of sales process/methodology, pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and delivering results.
- Develop and implement plans to deliver and exceed annual revenue budget, including monitoring revenue forecasts for own opportunities against budget.
- Identify opportunities for additional music usage and research tailored music proposals.
- Demonstrate the benefits of music usage through analysis and research.
- Recommend and support Management with creating and implementing sales processes to improve productivity and revenue delivery.
- Ensure regular channel training to adopt best practices and increase performance.
- Own sales compliance, ensuring customers are licensed under the appropriate tariff and minimising errors through effective coaching and support for team members.
You will be:
- Extensively experienced in identifying and managing the procurement of high-value accounts within the Fitness, Sports or Leisure (6 figure+ accounts).
- Experienced in B2B selling (minimum 2 years) ideally to C-suite level decision makers.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding financial targets through the end-to-end management of the sales cycle.
- Possessing an excellent customer relationship management background.
- Experienced in developing robust sales plans and delivering results.
- Exposed to or experienced in presenting to key decision makers within large organisations.
- Having a genuine passion for music, brands, and culture.
- Holding a full driving licence.
