We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team as the Performance and Digital Growth Executive. Based in our modern Leicester City Centre office working hybrid.

Working with the Senior Marketing and Digital Manager to take the lead on the delivery of digital marketing, targeted lead generation and online activity to drive B2B customer acquisition and existing customer engagement and retention.

To own the technical health and commercial performance of our digital ecosystem. You will manage our MarTech stack, optimise the website user journey, and execute high-performing acquisition campaigns across digital channels.

Using SEO, PPC, marketing automation and other digital channels and techniques to drive digital traffic, shape and manage user experience and generate leads and new B2B business opportunities.

What you will be doingAcquisition and Growth

Support the Senior Marketing & Digital Manager to develop and deliver key B2B acquisition and retention marketing activity/campaigns via digital platforms.

Provide insight to identify and implement improvements to activity to generate leads.

Management of SEM, SMM activity and work closely with SEO and PPC agency to ensure the best digital performance for online channels (CPA, ROAS, etc).

Build and manage ad-hoc and automated email workflows and nurture sequences.

Work closely with the new business and sales teams to optimise lead conversion.

Work with the relevant departments to manage data for marketing segmentation to deliver successful lead generation & nurture campaigns.

Take full ownership of the SMM – Paid Social Media (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) work with the content marketing team to build, launch, and monitor campaigns. Regularly review ad copy and visual performance, experimenting with different content and formats.

MarTechAct as the lead administrator for our marketing technology stack, including:

Ownership of the website end to end user experience (UX).

Manage the integration between our website (CMS), CRM, and advertising platforms to ensure data flows seamlessly

Own the implementation and maintenance of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4

Support with implementation of website enhancements, API integrations, and ensure the site is optimized for both speed and tracking accuracy.

UX and Optimisation

Develop a detailed understanding of the customer base, customer segmentation and customer journey to influence and improve results.

Perform online research of third-party, competitor/similar websites to implement new technology and functionality to improve the PPL PRS website experience.

Perform A/B and multivariate testing on all digital channels. Use knowledge, data and insight to continuously improve and enhance the user experience to improve lead conversion and acquisition.

Work with the relevant stakeholders, departments and third-party agencies to manage the testing and delivery of marketing projects and enhancements.

Data and Reporting

Management of the tracking and analytics tools for all digital platforms. Use Google Analytics, AdWords, Search Console etc. to analyse data and performance, provide development and enhance opportunities to improve digital performance, engagement and conversion.

Work with the Insights team to identify and utilise customer data to improve performance, messaging, lead generation and conversion.

Management and development of Digital Marketing Platforms. Production and presentation of digital marketing reports using various digital platforms.

Other Responsibilities

Manage and develop working relationships with 3rd party suppliers and other stakeholders.

To stay up to date on best practice and new marketing developments and industry trends, new channels, technology developments, and implement best practices.

You will have

Strong experience in website optimisation, performing A/B and multivariate testing and development for UX.

Proven experience managing paid campaigns for SEM and SMM

Proven experience of CRM systems (Salesforce) and Marketing Account Engagement Applications

Proven track record of delivering measurable results

Experience of implementing and managing marketing automation programmes

Development and analysis of reporting for digital channels

Tech experience of MarTech and reporting/analysis platforms– such as Google Ads, Search Console, SEMrush and GA4, etc.

Organisational skills with the ability to deliver a high volume of quality work with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects

Experience of performing research and analysis
