We are hiring a Host/ess to join our team at JOIA, our restaurant, bar, and rooftop located on the 14th, 15th and 16th floors of art’otel Battersea Power Station with iconic views overlooking Battersea Power Station. Conceptualised by two Michelin-starred Portuguese Chef Henrique Sa Pessoa, JOIA will celebrate dishes showcasing Henrique’s vibrant, unique, and fresh take on traditional dishes using the best of British and Iberian produce sourced locally. At TOZI Pizzeria & Cicchetti Bar, we bring together incredible Italian produce, Venetian casual dining traditions and the theatre of European grand cafes with menus for every occasion of the day.
As our Host/Hostess, you will receive:
- Salary: It is anticipated you will receive from £12.94 (minimum contracted rate) to £17.00 (rate inclusive of TRONC) per hour worked – inclusive of an independently administered TRONC allowance

As our Host/Hostess, you will:
- Have impressive knowledge of managing bookings from the first enquiry to initial delivery of information to all departments for reservations to semi-private group bookings
- Have strong email and phone etiquette and communication skills
- Manage a guest list with confidence
- Have experience with set menu bookings
- Be fully flexible to work in shifts on a Rota basis
- Ensure our Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner services run smoothly, delivering memorable experiences
- Manage bookings and know about reservation systems such as OpenTable, Seven Rooms, and Design My Night
